JASON DAY

Jason Day must’ve been jumping up and down when the PGA 🐲confirmed that Torrey Pines will take the Riviera’s place as the host of the 2025 Genesis Invitational. “I think – if it comes here [Torrey Pines], I can understand why they’ve come here,” the veteran modestly commented, while attempting to contain his excitement. The Australian has already slayed this course twice, with only two players claiming more prize money than him. Day may have not been considered by punters before, but the course switch should doubtlessly intrigue a few.

SEPP STRAKA

The 2023 Ryder Cup debutant has evolved into a sturdy and reliable performer on the PGA Tour, with the Austrian recording three tournament wins, including an impressive triumph at the 2025 American Express. Straka’s performance at La Quinta should convince punters that the 31-year-old can compete at Torrey Pines despite an unimpressive course record and forgettable finishes at the Genesis Invitational. A Deep Dive into Torrey Pines: Course Analysis for Punters

The Riviera Countr🐼y Club has hosted this event every year since 1999, but the PGA were forced to relocate in 2025 due to the wildfires that devastated Southern California.
