With our TPP Football Player Goals Involvement stats table above, you can filter through a list of over 2,000 players from clubs in 9 different leagues. You may filter by player, team, league, and country, as well as toggling between goal involvement stats for all domestic league matches or stats for home or away matches only!

♔ This table shows which players have been involved in the most goals in total over a season, this puts together both assists and goal statistics. This can be filtered by home and away games.

The table above shows the tally of goals that each player was involved in and is sorted by the number of goals. The total is made up of the sum of goals and assists made by that player. Apart from that, the table displays how many appearances (both starts and subs) and minutes each individual player has played. We have also calculated the goal involvements per 90 minutes played, as well as the minutes needed for that player to be involved in a goal✅. Anything over 1.25 goal involvements per 90 is quite outstanding.

Thanks to this table, it will be easier to spot which players have been their team’s most important players – the type of players that managers just can’t bench.

You can also filter the list to only see players from the Premier League, or any other leagues you wish to view. The tool is great for managing personalised content for a particular team or player. If you type in a country, the names appearing in the list will be from players who play in that country🎐. For example: if you type in England, you will see a list with players playing in the Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two. You may also filter by any given competition from the drop-down list provided at the top.

Apart from being able to bet on the match outcome in a simple 1/X/2 bet, punters have the possibility of betting on various markets which relate directly to goals being scored or assists being given𒈔. We shall be explaining the different markets below.

Anytime / First / Last Goalscorer

With an Anytime Goalscorer bet, the aim of the game is to try and guess which player will manage to score a goal at some point during the game. The first and last variations𓆏 make the bet more specific by allowing the bettor to predict the first or last goalscorer. The odds on the Anytime Goalscorer are normally lower than the first / last goalscorer since the probability of a player scoring a goal at any time is higher than a player scoring a specific goal.

In order to check out a player's goal-scoring record this season, we suggest you have a look at our dedicated page for goal statistics and tips to keep in mind.

Anytime Assist

Similar to the Anytime Goalscorer, the Anytime Assist market allows punters to bet on a player giving an assist at some point during a game𒁏. In this case, there are no first / last variations to bet on. An example of such a bet would be Bruno Fernandes to assist at any time in Manchester United vs Crystal Palace.

Since most goals require assists, you may also try your luck in guessing which player could assist a particular goalscorer and put an Anytime Assist and Anytime Goalscorer together in one bet slip through the use of a bet builder.

Team Total Goals

This market lets you predict the amount of goals one team will score in the match in question. It is basically an Over/Under market which focuses solely on the goals of a particular team.😼 For instance, in matches such as Aston Villa vs Arsenal, you could bet on Arsenal to score Over 1.5 goals or Aston Villa with Under 2.5 goals.

You could also consider combining the two by using a bet builder again. This could be a good alternative to correct score betting since it allows some more flexibility in results. For example, taking the same situation as mentioned above, if you believe the match will end 1-3 in Arsenal’s favour, you could place the above bet, and should the end result be 1-2 or 0-3 rather than 1-3, the bet is still successful.

Again, ThePuntersPage offers total team goals stats🗹 which can help you pinpoint trends from different teams in various leagues.

Both Teams To Score

This one is quite a straightforward one – it is essentially a yes or no question. Will both teams facing each other manage to score? Here, we suggest keeping an eye out for matches in which a team with a positive defensive record and that has managed to keep occasional clean sheets will be facing a team with a poor attacking record – these would be good opportunities to consider betting ‘No’.

💃 Alternatively, matches between two attack-minded teams which typically wouldn’t mind conceding during a game (as long as they’re scoring more than their opponents) would be a good opportunity for a ‘Yes’ bet in this market.

Our BTTS stats page🍸 will help you pick out the teams that have the highest percentage of matches played in, which both they and their opponents have scored.

Lewandowski was on fire in 2020/21! Averaging a goal involvement every 51 minutes played is next level. Lionel Messi was his usual self in what was to be his final season at Barcelona before a shock move to Paris Saint-Germain over the summer of 2021. Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland♑ continued to deliver numbers which sustain the claims that they will become the next superstars in terms of goal-scoring records. We hope to see more of them in the years to come.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Romelu Lukaku battled it out for the Serie A Capocannoniere title, with CR7 winning it eventually. Ronaldo may have scored more (29 G + 3 A), but Lukaku beat him in our table since he had more assists (24 G + 11 A).

Harry Kane was the only Premier League player to make it into the Top 10, mostly thanks to his impressive number of assists for Spurs throughout the season – 14. He was second only to Thomas Muller in the list of most assists that seasonꩵ, as the German provided his teammates with a total of 18 assists.

Bruno Fernandes proved to be instrumental for his club as he placed second in goal involvements in the Premier League with 30 (18 G + 12 A) – that’s 10 more than closest teammate Marcus Rashford. Bruno Fernandes is also the highest-ranking midfielder in the list.

Mohamed Salah and Heung-Min Son♊ were tied in third place with 27 goals and assists. This left Fernandes in 13th place and Salah and Son in 18th and 19th position when compared to players from the Top 5 European Leagues.

Another player worth mentioning is Luis Muriel from Atalanta, who managed 22 goals and 9 assists in total. This got him to a total of 31 goal involvements, which meant he fell short of our top 10 list (11th place). However, the special thing about what the Colombian forward did was that he managed 31 involvements in just 1,433 minutes playing for his club! That’s a goal involvement every 46.23 minutes!𒉰 It would have been interesting to see what he could have done if he was given more playing time.

There were another two players who were in fine form and got themselves an average of at least 1 goal involvement per match. These were Gerard Moreno of Villarreal, who scored 23 and assisted 7 in 2,682 minutes (89.40 mins per involvement), and Lars Stindl, who played for Borussia M’gladbach and scored 14 and assisted 8 in 1,969 minutes (89.50 mins per involvement).

🦹 Given the amount of goals Manchester City scored in order to win the Premier League that season, it was surprising not to see one Man City player in the list.

The above table is just packed with world-class players. The numbers there are absolutely phenomenal! Football fans love to compare, and when it comes to calculating the influence of a player in a match, there are few better ratios than the goal involvement per match ratio.

Only two players in this list have managed to maintain a standard above the rest. Once part of the deadly MSN trio, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi are the only two players to register at least 1 goal involvement in every match played🔴. This impressive result is partly due to the fact that when these players were not scoring, they were setting each other up for a goal most of the time. With the addition of Neymar down the left flank, the MSN trio remains one of the most iconic front 3 in history.

Lionel Messi has got a ratio of 1.18 goal involvements per match played and is the player with the most assists in history – out of this world! Recently, Messi also became the leading South American scorer in international games.

The player with the most number of goals since 2000 is Cristiano Ronaldo, with more than 725 goals🎃. These include: goals scored in domestic leagues, domestic cups, Champions League and other European competitions, as well as matches played for their respective countries.

Goals and assists are what get teams their 3 points at the end of matches. With the variety of betting markets for goal scorers and assists, the chances of finding a great opportunity which you can benefit from are higher than ever. As always, we suggest you do your research well – that’s why this stats page should probably make it to your bookmarks bar!

🉐When a player scores or assists a goal, it is considered a goal involvement.

🔜Lionel Messi scored 73 and assisted 32, meaning he was involved in 105 goals during the 2011/12 La Liga season for Barcelona. He played 60 matches that season between La Liga, Copa del Rey, Spanish Supercopa, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.

ꦦAt the moment, Cristiano Ronaldo has got 985 but Messi has got 1014, so Messi takes this one.

𝄹In 2012, Lionel Messi scored an outstanding tally of 91 goals. Cristiano Ronaldo sits in second place with the 69 goals he managed to score in 2013. Those will probably go down as the best years in their career.
