Tournament Structure for Overwatch League
The Overwatch League consists of a Regular Season and ensuing Playoff♏s.
The Regular Season consists of 20 competing teams: 10 teams from the Atlantic Conference and 10 teams from the Pacific Conference. Each team will play 28 matches throughout a season. All Regular Season matches are played on a first-to-three Map basis.
After the conclusion of the Re🌱gular Season, the top-ranked Atlantic Conference and Pacific Conference teams will automatically qualify for the Playoffs, along with the 3rd to 6th ranked teams, irrespective of their division.
The 7th to 12th placed teams will take part in a single-elimination tournament to determine the last two Playoffs teams. A grand total of 8 teams will take part in the Playoffs. All Playoffs matches are played on a first-to-four Map basis.
